Barefoot in Nature with a Toddler

Last weekend was extremely busy for us as we had a full day wedding on Friday and then on Saturday, I wanted to spend the day outside since it was probably one of the last sunny days this summer…

So we decided to go to the “blotevoetenpad” in Zutendaal which is a lovely town not far from where we live which is surrounded by nature. This place is great for groups and family trips as the walk is about 3km but it still takes you about 2 hours to complete. Reason for this is that on the one hand you’re walking barefoot and on the other hand, you come across different types of soil and obstacles which makes it that much more interesting 🙂 With Beau being able to walk on his own, it became quite interesting to see how he would react to the different soils but he had so much fun especially with the mud 😉 Below are some impressions on our day outside!

This place keeps on changing so we have the tendency to visit it at least once a year, as it’s so much fun!

If you’re ever in the area, I strongly recommend visiting this place 🙂
